“Shaping Your Career: Creating a Meaningful Leadership Plan”

Join us to hear what four senior female leaders at RBC have learned as they navigated their way into senior roles in a male dominated industry. These four women will share their stories on what leadership means to them, what they learned along the way and how to be an agent of change in your organization.

Sabrina Gollnow, RBC Commercial Banker in Mining and Natural Resources, will host the panel discussion with Donna O’Reilly, Regional Vice President of Commercial Banking, Leeann Signorotti, Regional Vice President of Private Banking, Joanne Gordon, Vice President, Commercial Banking, Toronto Region and Nadine Renaud-Tinker, Regional Vice President, Retail Banking.

The Panel:

Donna O’Reilly joined RBC in 1990 and has held various leadership positions in Canadian Banking, Risk Management and Operations throughout her career. After completing her MBA in 1990, Donna joined RBC’s Commercial Financial Services team and has continued to gain experience in a number of progressive roles. Prior to her current role as Regional Vice President, Commercial Financial Services, Donna was Vice President of RBC’s Commercial Advisory Group; leading a team of 300 employees adjudicating and underwriting commercial credit nationally. Prior to this role, Donna was Vice President, Commercial Financial Services for RBC’s Supply Chain Business segment in Toronto where she led a team of professional account managers looking after clients’ financial needs.

Leeann Signorotti’s progressive career with RBC® spans more than two decades, and includes a broad range of experience in commercial banking, operations and compliance, service delivery and risk management. As head of the dynamic Greater Toronto Region for Canadian Private Banking, Ms. Signorotti leads a robust and dynamic team of 40 Private Bankers and three Vice Presidents intent on providing an unparalleled wealth management experience for their clients. Ms. Signorotti holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Ryerson University, as well as an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. She is currently enrolled in the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) program, designed for those working with family businesses on a range of issues from business banking and credit solutions to succession planning.

Joanne Gordon, having more than 20 years of RBC experience, has an in-depth knowledge of commercial banking. Joanne manages RBC’s Media & Entertainment team and the Professional Services team for downtown Toronto. Joanne has been an innovative force within the Bank in developing media and digital media strategy and policies and identifying areas for growth. Joanne has a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. She has lecturing experience at York University both in Finance and Women in Business and is a current member of the Toronto Board of Trade. Joanne is a past Member of the Board of Presenting Our Vision, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing at-risk young people with an opportunity to learn the art of film production. She is also a past Treasurer and Member of the Board of Women in Film and Television – Toronto.

Nadine Renaud-Tinker has more than 16 years of financial experience at RBC. She has explored various sales and leadership roles within RBC and the Canadian financial industry which spread across the retail, commercial and wealth management platforms. Her career experiences have included Retail banking as senior account manager, Wealth management as a Financial Planner, and prior to entering Commercial markets she led a large retail unit with a team of 40 people as branch manager, in a high value key market in Toronto. As a Senior Account Manager in Commercial Markets, she built complex credit structures which were tailored to Canadian companies with up to $100 Million in annual revenues. Nadine most recently accepted a role as Regional Vice President in Retail Banking and is responsible for leading and growing a business of 15 retail branches, representing over 200 employees across Toronto. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and a Business and Personal Financial Planning diploma from the institute of Canadian Bankers / Canadian Securities. She is currently working towards earning her executive MBA. She is also passionate about kids and mental health and has been involved with SickKids for 10 years and is a volunteer with the YWCA of Etobicoke.
