MiHR is hosting a free half-day workshop in Toronto to provide local mining employers with knowledge and skills to improve gender equity within their organizations. Built on gender diversity research and MiHR’s Gender Equity in Mining Works (GEM Works) program, the workshops will provide participants with:

• An overview of gender equity and the Canadian mining workforce;
• Regional mining labour market information;
• An understanding of barriers to gender equity;
• The business case for greater gender diversity; and
• Tools and resources to build more equitable mining workplaces.
