Indigenous Inclusion: More Than Stakeholder Engagement

Globally, Indigenous voices have been integrated more intentionally into mining practices, but much must be done to ensure the industry understands the impacts it has on Indigenous Rights and Inclusion, and how to strive towards reconciliation.

Having acted extensively in Sub-Saharan Africa and Canada, Beth brings a global worldview to her work. Experienced partnering with Government, Private Sector, and Non-Profits, she connects the dots and develops people-centric solutions to the most pressing ESG issues facing the industry today. Beth has actively worked with Indigenous partners to promote economic inclusion, more diverse supply chains, and to address challenges related to climate action, water management, and reclamation. With strong ties to the communities around her, Beth ensures all voices are heard when making decisions, as understanding people and their stories is an important part of thinking strategically. Beth Borody offers a fresh, new, and innovative voice in mining, and is committed to propelling this industry into the future.
