Jennifer Abols is a metallurgical engineer with 28 years’ experience in the mining and minerals sector. She has worked in Canada, Australia, the US, the UK and Portugal in project execution, commissioning management, engineering management, business and strategic development, process operations, marketing and sales. She is a past chairman of the Canadian Mineral Processors and ex-president of the West Australian Mining Club. She is currently the Chief Advisor Technical Audit and Assurance for Rio Tinto. Prior to taking on this position she was the Director of Projects for Alamos Gold, a Canadian based gold producer. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Extractive Metallurgy, Jennifer holds an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University.
