Mr. Stuart will begin his presentation with a brief overview of historical discoveries and uses of metals and gem stones with emphases on jewellery. This will lead into a discussion of his exhibition, Homage. Honouring outstanding Canadian women, Homage is a unique collection of extraordinary art necklaces; designed and created by Donald Stuart. With the current interest regarding women in leadership roles, Homage features many Canadian leaders who have helped shape our country in different ways. The exhibition includes women, both historic and contemporary, who span various fields, from business, art, music, science, law to sports.

Following the presentation, Mr. Stuart would welcome questions and a discussion from the group.
